In what is a hard race to end on, it may pay to stick with a stable in form, and with that in mind, Oh So Wisley is taken to repel the challenges of Chivite, Cool Roxy and Sadler's Secret. Nigel Twiston-Davies can do no wrong at present, and therefore Oh So Wisley will be expected to go close after his recent victory at Exeter where he was not unbacked. He seems more relaxed over hurdles than fences and has a good partner in Robert Biddlecombe. If setting out dominate proceedings, the eight-year-old may prove hard to peg back, and he makes a bit more appeal than Chivite. Philip Hobbs' charge was a beaten favourite at Fontwell, having earlier been successful over further at Uttoxeter, and the step up in trip here can only be in his favour. Cool Roxy seems to fare better at sharp tracks such as Fakenham, while Sadler's Secret would prefer a bit more cut in the ground. Toby Balding has been working his jumpers on the old Fyfield gallops despite moving to a new purpose-built yard at Kimpton, and East Hill can make his presence felt as well. Martin Pipe saddles both Safari Paradise and Gebora, but neither appeal on the evidence so far, and we suggest a small wager on Oh So Wisley in the finale.
