One of Catterick's favourite sons, Gods Solution, is honoured in this seven furlong handicap but none of the participants look to be in the same class as the multiple track winner. James Eustace's Headland is among those with chances, coming here as he does on the back of some fine efforts on sand. However, he is better on the all-weather than on turf and may not be as well treated as he first appears. Mark Johnston's Shanook is open to more improvement than most after just four career starts but the stable has made a quiet start to the campaign and he may be best watched today. As is often the case at this time of year, David Nicholls has seemingly left plenty to work on with his representatives so Time To Remember, Jubilee Street and Mister Rambo are three to steer clear of. Flying Treaty was, not surprisingly, outclassed behind Dandoun at Doncaster last week and should appreciate the drop in class but may still not be good enough to figure off his current mark. Differential, another horse with winning form on the all-weather recently is another to consider but the selection goes to the reappearing Marshallspark. Richard Fahey's gelding starts the campaign on a fair mark, fitness should bot be a problem with the stable in good form and he is well drawn in stall three. Noul and Raphael are others worthy of a mention but we are happy to side with the Fahey runner, who gets the nod under Paul Hanagan.
