        Verdict

        Azurine is very interesting now stepped up to this trip and is taken to score from Collette's Choice, Vice Admiral and Osolomio. The selection has largely been campaigned over a mile thus far and has run creditably in seven starts without breaking her maiden tag. With plenty of form over this trip on her dam's side and top of the ground a distinct plus, Mark Johnston looks to have placed her well to land this handicap. Collette's Choice was a beaten favourite over 14f last time and will probably appreciate this drop back to a 1m4f. Ground conditions suit but she is 8lb higher than her latest win and that should find her out. Vice Admiral is 5lb better off for four lengths with Collette's Choice on their Pontefract running and can make the frame again, while Osolomio is definitely worth a try at this trip and has the credentials to get involved at the business end. But Azurine takes the eye here and gets our vote.
