Lucid Dreams may prove the answer in a wide open handicap, with Classie Lassie, Killala and Mr Bountiful all holding claims as well. The selection can be no more than a tentative choice in a race of this nature, but has been in enough form lately to warrant support. A winner at Yarmouth the time before last, he was second to Candelabra on a return to the seaside track, and although the winner let the form down at Sandown on Wednesday, Michael Wigham's gelding does still at least have the assistance of Nicky Mackay who gets on well with him. Killala is a course and distance winner here but might just be a shade high in the weights, while Class Lassie has the form but has been a bit out of form lately. Mr Bountiful has also been in the winner's enclosure here and has enough placed form to reach the frame again. Differential is paying the penalty for some useful efforts, and for the winner we return to Lucid Dreams.
