Verdict

Airplane scored over track and trip last month but is raised in class along with Albert Boy, placed in his last three starts and finishing in front of Calliope when runner-up here last month. Bogardus has been thereabouts since winning at Carlisle and is another facing a more difficult task though Morning Skye and Be Perfect are capable at this level. But FLOOD DEFENCE found only one too good at Haydock recently and Iain Jardine’s filly gets the vote on that form having won off a similar mark at Sandown last season.
