A lowly contest where Moyanna can lose her maiden tag, at the expense of Islands Farewell and Otylia. Moyanna, trained by David Barron, has been knocking on the door in handicaps and maidens recently and deserves to get her head in front, this could be her best opportunity to date. Of the others, the more exposed runners in the field have shown themselves to be a moderate bunch, so it may pay to look for a horse with a bit of scope. Islands Farewell comes into that category having had just one outing in a much better race at Haydock, where he wasn't given a hard time when finishing eigth behind Radiant Energy, and is certain to improve. Alan Berry's Otylia has had plenty of chances, but on the odd bits of form must have a chance of being in the firing line here. However for the selection it has to be Moyanna, with Islands Farewell seen as a major threat.
