        Verdict

        Alugat gets the vote in the finale with Lyndalee and Optical Seclusion rating the main dangers. The selection was well beaten in a much better race behind Mr Sandicliffe last time out. This represents a drop in class and with the drop back to the minimum trip also in his favour he looks the one to be on. Lyndalee rates the main danger on her latest fifth behind Hello Roberto but she looks to have a little to find off this mark. Optical Seclusion was a fair third behind Boy Dancer last time but he was doing all his best work at the finish so the drop to the minimum trip has to be of concern. Bahamian Duke won well over course and distance last time out when beating Hypnosis but this looks more competitive and his penalty may just find him out. Northern Chorus is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is hard to win with and in a race where the market will be very informative for the winner we return to Alugat.
