This is a really competitive event and the vote is given to Wot Way Chief, who is preferred to Ocarina and Cavers Glen. The selection was a little disappointing in a better race than this at Market Rasen last time out but he was a beaten favourite that day and on his previous efforts he would hold strong claims today. Ocarina is interesting as he is lightly-raced and he put in a creditable effort to chase home Bedlam Boy last time. He will probably need to improve to get competitive here but it is quite possible that there will be more to come and he is definite shortlist material. Cavers Glen lost no caste in defeat when chasing home Thatlldoforme at Kelso last time and there is no doubt that he is capable of winning races, although others are preferred on this occasion. Bouncing King is a consistent type and he is another with strong place claims, but Wot Way Chief is forgiven his lastest run and he is nominated to return to form today.
