Tomasino and Big Smoke are well treated judged by official BHB ratings but their recent form leaves something to be desired and preference is for Platinum Charmer, who gets the vote over Spree Vision. The last mentioned lost no caste in defeat behind the well-handicapped Party Ploy at Ayr last time and has to be respected on that evidence. He rates a bigger threat than Rae Guest's Lord Dundee, who is well in on his best but has given little sign of encouragement this term. A similar comment applies to Devine Light, while Tomasino seems to retain very little ability if recent form is to be believed. The vote then goes to Platinum Charmer. Karl Burke's gelding has been running into form of late and is now dropped in class. He should take all the beating.
