Verdict

Glinger finally got his act together at Market Rasen and it is possible he could follow up here, although on the face of it he has plenty to find if he is to beat Ashgar. The latter has plenty in hand on official figures, but he is far from straightforward and Glinger is the more likely to run his race. Grand Slam, who looked like being a useful performer, had clearly lost his way, but he did shape a little better last time and may be good enough to take the minor honours.
