    Verdict

Jazzy Millennium can prove the answer to this big field handicap, with Mister Clinton, Temper Tantrum and Hand Chime likely to chase him home. The selection took a similar contest over course and distance last season and has been so consistent at both this and six furlongs since, that despite failing to add to that success for over a year, he took 10 runs to drop far enough in the weights to enable him to score again, when winning over six at Lingfield last time out. A 3lb rise again for that win will make it tough for him, but he can carry Steve Drowne to victory. Mister Clinton also comes into the race on the back of a win here over a mile last time and with course form such a plus here, he has to be one for the shortlist. He has won off a mark of 65 in the past, but with ability slightly having waned since then, this 62 will test him too. Temper Tantrum is a course and distance winner who runs from a mark 1lb lower than his highest winning pitch, and as he also goes best at this trip then he too comes into the equation, though he does prefer it fast underfoot and it is not so today. Of the others topweight Hand Chime makes some appeal now that he has dropped another 3lb, but he also likes it fast and looks to be going the wrong way, so even though a big run would not be a huge surprise, you could not back him with any real confidence. In summary, we take Jazzy Millennium to score.
