A good race for the course and it is interesting that the likes of Budelli and Sir Edwin Landseer are winging their way to Brighton for a Showcase Handicap on a Thursday afternoon. However, neither have outstanding claims at the weights and the bang-in-form Landing Strip could be the one to lead them all a merry dance today. The step up to six furlongs will not be a problem for this pacey individual, who seems to be thriving on his racing at the moment. Madrasse is another who will ensure that this will be a fast and furious encounter, but like course specialists Alpen Wolf and Esato, she meets a much improved rival in Landing Strip, who may be too tough to deal with now that his confidence is on such a high. JayanJay and CD Flyer are others who could play leading roles for the places as well.
