held up, headway 4f out, kept on one pace
tracked leader, ridden and every chance over 2f out, weakened over 1f out
keen, held up in touch, headway to join leaders 4f out, soon ridden, weakened 2f out
held up, headway over 3f out, ridden and every chance over 2f out, weakened final furlong
keen, always prominent, led over 2f out, ridden and ran on gamely
slow into stride, held up, headway over 3f out, ridden and every chance over 1f out, stayed on inside final furlong
always about the same place
chased leaders, ridden 4f out, weakened 2f out
towards rear, ridden over 2f out, kept on final furlong, not troubled leaders
towards rear, headway and inside over 2f out, weakened final furlong
led, ridden and headed over 2f out, soon weakened
slow into stride, soon in touch, weakened 4f out
Yet another tricky one for punters, with the likes of Desert Island Disc, Figura, Jadeeron and Major Attraction all holding claims, and it is the latter who gets a tentative vote. Mark Brisbourne's charge, a winner at Catterick on fast ground, gets those conditions again here and has shaped well enough on his two latest outings at Yarmouth and Redcar to warrant support. The others mentioned have bits and pieces of form merit respect, and indeed Desert Island Disc is a winner over track and trip. Further down the weights, Giko lines up fit and fancied but cannot be guaranteed to repeat his Les Landes form on this track.
