In depth

Verdict

Torrens comes here in good heart and can win again. Paparaazi and Bobby Charles make it to the shortlist. This appears to be another race that wont take much winning and Richard Fahey's charge comes here in good form having got the verdict in a photo finish at Chester earlier this month. He needs every yard of this trip but should appreciate the uphill finish and looks worth a bet. Trouble Mountain has winning form over course and distance but will need to bounce back after two mediocre runs, whilst the same applies to Magic String although both looks feasibly handicapped. The stablemate of the selection Bolton Hall has claims but faces a tough task from 3lb out of the weights. Bobby Charles hasn't progressed as hoped but has good form on a soft surface so he would certainly have claims now back on turf if putting his best foot forward, however Torrens is still on a winning mark and can win again.
