Verdict
This is a trappy contest and from a shortlist of Klynch, Favourite Girl and Fivefootnumberone we will nominate Favourite Girl as the pick. Tim Easterby's filly justified favouritism when beating Kyllachy Star at Carlisle last time out over 6f. She only just got home that day so this drop back in trip should play to her strengths and she looks a good bet to go in again. Klynch is the obvious alternative as he ran in the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes at Ascot last time, so this is a drop in class for him today. However, he looked far from straightforward that day so he could be one to have reservations about. John Quinn has his stable in good form at present so Fivefootnumberone has to be of interest, and after disappointing at Epsom last time he should be suited by this drop back to the minimum trip. Master Noverre and Fathey were both winners first time out and the market could indicate which one of these two runners from the Richard Fahey stable is fancied. However, Favourite Girl has plenty in her favour and she can win again.
