Green Pride showed plenty of promise on his debut at Windsor last week and Richard Hannon's colt is fancied to get off the mark at the main expense of Carmenero. The latter finished a length and a half in front of Green Pride when they were fourth and sixth respectively behind Crocodile Bay. However, there is a fair chance that he can reverse the form today, not least because Richard Hannon's two-year-olds tend to show significant improvement between their first and second runs. Others to consider in this race are the debutant, High Seasons, who hails from the Rod Millman stable whose juveniles have started the season really well and any market move for this Fantastic Light colt should be noted. Tour d'Amour has shaped fairly well in two starts on sand so far and could be capable of picking up a small race on turf. However, there was a lot to like about Green Pride's debut effort and he is fancied to score here under Richard Hughes.
