In possibly the most wide open race on the card Dealer's Choice is given the nod ahead of Classic Native and Will Of The People. The selection comes here following a game victory over fences, beating The Tall Guy by just under two lengths. He is just as adept over the smaller obstacles as he showed when beating Probus Lord at Newton abbot last April and he is weighted to go close again. Dangers are everywhere, Glen Warrior and Western Rock are both in great heart, but Classic Native looks the more serious contender having taken the Martell bumper last season. We have to admit his hurdles form since has been pretty ordinary, but this longer trip could bring out the best in him. Of the rest Will Of The people hails from a top yard and his second behind Fundamental at Leicester in January is now looking very decent form. So not the easiest of races to asses but we will take a chance with Dealer's Choice.
