Verdict

A 17-runner five-furlong handicap with the bottom four set to run from outside the weights. If the ground is soft then low numbers could have an advantage. Storyteller and Nifty Alice are the only course and distance winners in the race, and they hold chances. The first-named should run well even off top weight. Flying Tackle is still 15lbs higher than for his Redcar win in October while Cark is not far behind Storyteller on recent form but, as said, a number can be considered.
