EMPERATRIZ has been unlucky not to get her head in front of late. Her recent placed efforts have been on the Fibresand but she was second on soft ground at Leicester in July and gets another chance in this company. Dark Ocean is less certain to be suited by today's going though he finished ahead of Ingleby Symphony when fourth at Hamilton while Kruspskaya has a shout on her earlier win at Thirsk with an apprentice's allowance helping her cause. The remainder have been struggling recently although The Scuttler has dropped back to the same mark as when scoring at Pontefract in July.
