In depth

Verdict

Datbandito, Ungaro, Sea Laughter and Aces Four look the ones to concentrate on in this open bumper and the vote goes to Aces Four. It is interesting to note that Tony Dobbin who is stable jockey to Len Lungo has chosen to ride this gelding who was a good second on his debut behind Young Scotton. He is sure to have come on for the run and will be hard to beat. Ungaro rates the main danger he won well on his debut and then disappointed on rain softened ground last time out it would be no surprise to see him bounce back to form on this faster surface. Datbandito showed improved form when third behind Esh Bran Girl and if he improved again her is another that would have definite place claims. Sea Laughter was a good second behind Fairy Skin Maker and is another that could go well but for the winner we return to Aces Four.
