In the finale, we are going to side with Cryfield ahead of Gifted Flame, Market Avenue and Skiddaw Jones. Gifted Flame comes here on the back of a win in an amateur riders' event. Having looked well weighted going into that race, he still looks reasonably handicapped after it and should go well, although 10st 4lbs is a lot of weight to carry. Cryfield remains favourably weighted based on his 2002 form and is set to go well, while Market Avenue scored from a mark of 64 last July so, now rated 58, really ought to go well. Skiddaw Jones has won only once, but that was over course and distance and he is now back to the mark from which he won. That affords him a chance and these look to be the principals, with our tentative vote going to Cryfield.
