Liberty Flag gets the nod here ahead of Merwaha and possibly Paintbox. The selection showed plenty of promise when just touched off at Windsor on her debut and that run should have brought her on enormously. As such, she might get the better of Marcus Tregoning's Merwaha, a fair fourth at Goodwood on her debut, Arctic Silk, a daughter of the 1,000 Guineas winner Cape Verdi, seems to be getting the hang of things now and should continue to improve, while Amanda Perrett's newcomer, Paintbox, could be interesting. Sylva Royal also showed promise on her Polytrack debut and it would be no surprise to see Gerard Butler's well-bred debutante Tarfah run well. Overall, though, we are happy to stick with Liberty Flag.
