John Gosden introduces an interesting debutante in Latif, a son of Red Ransom, but, despite receiving all the allowances, he will need to be useful to beat Mick Channon's Pivotal Guest, who gets the verdict over Chinsola and Winners Delight. The last mentioned justified heavy support when winning at Lingfield last time and has to be respected but this represents a step up in class. Chinsola probably did not beat a great deal when winning at the same venue earlier this month and, although open to improvement over this trip, lacks the scope of Pivotal Guest. Mick Channon's colt still looked green when winning at Newcastle last month and, being a half-brother to a seven furlong juvenile winner, there should be plenty more to come over today's longer trip. Anousa belied odds of 50/1 when second in a Newmarket maiden on his debut but the form of that race has taken a few knocks since, while Fancy Foxtrot needs to improve on previous form to trouble Pivotal Guest, who gets a confident vote.
