The likes of Dark Room, Iverain, Divet Hill and Mr Baxter Basics all come into this in reasonable form but Whereareyounow looks a progressive performer and is taken to beat his more experienced rivals. The Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained gelding is clearly held in high regard by his handler and it is easy to see why if judged by wins at Stratford and, latterly, at Cheltenham. Seemingly well treated on his handicap debut over fences on a mark of 125, he looks the one to be on. Topweight Mr Baxter Basics found just Barito too good at Cheltenham last time and warrants respect, as does Divet Hill, who won a hunters' chase at the Grand National meeting in April and has had a recent pipe opener. Iverain has more to do than when winning at Haydock last time and a bigger threat may be the Jonjo O'Neill-trained Dark Room, who should strip fitter for his recent return at Huntingdon. With Ferdy Murphy's stable in such good form at present, Luzcadou is worthy of consideration on his reappearance along with Tonoco from the Sue Smith stable but Whereareyounow looks ahead of the handicapper and gets the vote.
