Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette says he can't wait to face Super Bowl champion Jay Ajayi at Wembley.

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette says he cannot wait to play against Jay Ajayi at Wembley and hopes he can follow in the Londoner's footsteps.

Ajayi was drafted to the Miami Dolphins in 2015 before joining the Philadelphia Eagles last year and being part of the side that won the Super Bowl.

The 25-year-old will return home to Wembley when the Eagles face the Jaguars in October and Fournette has been thoroughly impressed with the rise of his fellow running back.

"As a football family man I want to say I'm proud of him," Fournette said at an event in London to help promote JagTag, a new initiative aimed at getting more children playing American Football in the UK.

"Especially coming from Miami then off that one-year becoming a Super Bowl champion.

"He's doing a great job representing the running back as a whole so I can't wait to play against him.

When asked if Ajayi has achieved what Fournette wants to achieve, he simply replied: "Most definitely."

The Jaguars will play their sixth game at Wembley, with talks still ongoing between owner Shahid Khan and the FA over the sale of the stadium.

Having won the last three games, Fournette can't wait to take on the current Super Bowl champions in what is sure to be their biggest test yet.

"I love it here. For the Jaguars this is our second home," he said.

"Knowing we have to come here and face the Philadelphia Eagles the reigning champs it's going to be a great game.

"Two great young franchises going to go at it. It should be great."
