The Oakland Raiders are making moves to upgrade their offense for 2018, signing wide receiver Jordy Nelson and running back Doug Martin, while cutting wide receiver Michael Crabtree.
According to multiple reports, Nelson has agreed a two-year deal, $15m deal with $13m guaranteed.
The 32-year-old Nelson was cut by the Packers earlier this week after catching 69 touchdowns over nine in Green Bay, which is the second-highest total in franchise history.
Following his scheduled visit with the Raiders, Nelson was reportedly set to meet with the Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints but that will not now happen.
With Nelson in the fold, the Raiders are reportedly set to release Crabtree, who carries a cap hit of $7.7m for 2018.
Crabtree, 30, has spent three productive seasons in Oakland catching 232 passes for 2,543 yards (10.96 yards per catch) and 25 touchdowns.
The Raiders have also reportedly agreed a deal to sign Martin, who was released by the Buccaneers in February after six seasons and two suspensions in Tampa Bay.
A two-time Pro Bowl selection, Martin ran for a career-low 406 yards last season and averaged 2.9 yards per carry the last two years combined.
On the heels of a 1,402-yard season in 2015, the Buccaneers locked him up before free agency to a five-year deal worth $35.75m. Martin made $15m in guarantees. He was second in the NFL in rushing in 2015.
Martin turned 29 on January 13 but has relatively low miles for the position at his age - 1,150 total carries.
The signing of Martin is not expected to signal an end to Marshawn Lynch's time in Oakland.
Lynch finished the season strongly with 891 yards and head coach Jon Gruden said at the NFL Scouting Combine the Raiders are counting on the former Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks running back to play a "big time" role in 2018.
