The Browns have been busy under first-year general manager John Dorsey, including trading for wide receiver Jarvis Landry and quarterback Tyrod Taylor on Friday.

Running back Isaiah Crowell started for the Browns last season but on Tuesday agreed to a contract with the New York Jets.

The signing of Hyde puts into question whether the Browns would be tempted to select standout running back prospect Saqoun Barkley out of Penn State in the upcoming NFL draft. Cleveland holds the first and fourth overall selections.
