Greg Jennings is hoping for a Philadelphia Eagles win at Super Bowl LII but says you can never rule out Patriots' Tom Brady

Greg Jennings is hoping for a Philadelphia Eagles win at Super Bowl LII, but says you can never rule out New England Patriots' "Mr fourth quarter" Tom Brady.

The Eagles could claim their first Championship in Sunday's showdown in Minnesota, live on Sky Sports Action and Sky Sports Mix, while the Patriots are chasing their sixth win.

Former wide receiver Jennings says in the case of a close tie, quarterback Brady always has the ability to save the game, as he demonstrated last year when he inspired a Patriots comeback against the Atlanta Falcons in the fourth quarter to win his - and the organisation's - fifth championship.

Super Bowl LII

"If it's close, you're competing against a guy who's already let it be known, I'm putting my life on the line, you better be willing to put yours on the line in Tom Brady. So I just hope for a very electric game, that the fans, we all can enjoy," said Jennings, who won Super Bowl XLV with the Green Bay Packers.

"If it's close, Mr fourth quarter (Tom Brady) he will pull it out, but my hope is that the Eagles will get their first Championship.

"But I love what the Patriots have done and I wouldn't be upset, I'm not a Patriots hater, if they get number six, it's been impressive to watch them."

While the Patriots boast the experience of seven Super Bowls, along with the 17-year partnership of Brady and head coach Bill Belichick, Jennings believes the Eagles could have a chance if they can match their performance in their NFC Championship win over the Minnesota Vikings.

"If the Philadelphia Eagles can do what they did in Championship week, and I say it and as a fan you would expect 'well you've got to have your best game' but it's hard to reproduce that type of performance - offensively, defensively and on special teams as they did against the Vikings," added Jennings.

"But they have to get it if they're going to dethrone the champs. These guys have all been there before and we focus on Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, but they have a roster full of guys that have more than one or two Championship Lombardi trophies and championship rings.

"This team is experienced, they understand the atmosphere, they understand the environment that they're in and they understand what's at stake."
