The NFL play-offs are upon us, and the competition gets even more fierce, as two teams were eliminated on Saturday night.

The Detroit Lions were beaten 26-6 by the Seattle Seahawks, while the Houston Texans took advantage of injuries to overcome the Oakland Raiders, running out 27-14 winners.

Wild Card Weekend continues with action from Pittsburgh as the Steelers host the Miami Dolphins, before the New York Giants take on the Green Bay Packers, for a chance to play the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC divisional round next week.

Two-time Super Bowl champion Kevin Boothe believes the winner of tomorrow's final game will go on to represent the NFC in Houston on February 5.

Boothe, a former offensive lineman who won both his rings with the Giants, believes that it is the Packers and Giants who are the two in-form teams.

"I wouldn't be surprised if whoever wins that game represents the NFC in the Super Bowl", said Boothe. "This is the most intriguing game and, even though whoever wins will face Dallas, I think both sides have got a shot.

"In my experience, it seems to have been the team that gets hot at this time of year. I think those two teams are the hottest right now, so I'm looking at that game."

Boothe went on to say that, despite winning seven straight games, he saw advantages that New York could exploit.

"Even though the Packers are playing at home, and Aaron Rodgers has been playing great, I think that the Giants match up really well.

"Green Bay are throwing anybody in there at running back and the Giants have been really stingy on defence. With all the money spent in the backfield, I believe they'll be able to keep Jordy Nelson in check."
