The Cleveland Browns have confirmed Robert Griffin III will start at quarterback when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
Griffin has been on injured reserve, with a designation to return, since injuring his shoulder in their week one game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The former Washington Redskins quarterback returned to practice last month and, having been cleared for contact last week, will return to the starting line-up when the Browns play for the first time in a fortnight after a week 13 bye.
Cody Kessler and Josh McCown have split the starts in Griffin's absence and he returns with the Browns still seeking their first win of the season.
The Browns have four games left to avoid what is now being termed as the 'perfect 0-16' season in Cleveland.
Social media in Ohio has been getting behind the idea of a parade should the Browns fail to claim a win over the Bengals or their remaining opponents - the Buffalo Bills, San Diego Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers.
A total of 11 teams have gone through seasons without a win but the only to do it in a 16-game campaign is the 2008 Detroit Lions.
