New England Patriots superstar Tom Brady has set a new record for the most wins by an NFL quarterback.
Brady led the Patriots to a 26-10 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Foxborough on Sunday, taking him to 201 career victories and past Peyton Manning for the career lead.
The 39-year-old Brady is a four-time Super Bowl winner with the Patriots and the AFC East side are targeting another run at the title, having won seven of their last eight to improve their record to 10-2.
Brady produced a solid display against the Rams, completing 33 of his 46 passes for 269 yards and a 14-yard first quarter touchdown pass to Chris Hogan.
The game's first touchdown was scored by Pats running back LeGarrette Blount, who rumbled through tackles for a 43-yard first quarter score and finished with 88 yards on 18 carries.
On the same day that Los Angeles coach Jeff Fisher and general manager Les Snead were given contract extensions, the recently relocated Rams (4-8) proved they still have a long way to go, after losing for the seventh time in eight outings.
Los Angeles were outgained 402-162 for the game and, in his third career start, rookie Jared Goff was picked off twice, completing 14 of 32 passes for 161 yards and a touchdown.
Brady, meanwhile, has taken just 264 games [including play-offs] to rack up his record wins total. His fellow NFL great Manning needed 293 games to reach the 200-win mark.
