No 1 pick Jared Goff is set to make his first start for the Los Angeles Rams in their week 11 clash with the Miami Dolphins.

The Rams made Goff their first selection since returning to Los Angeles in April's NFL Draft but, after struggling at times during training camp and pre-season, he has spent the regular season so far as Case Keenum's back-up.

But NFL Network's Michael Silver reports that the rookie, who had a stellar college career at California, will replace Keenum after he struggled in their 9-6 win over the New York Jets on Sunday.

Goff will be taking over a Rams offence which ranks last in total points (139) and has only scored 14 touchdowns in nine games but still has a chance at the play-offs with a 4-5 record.

Keenum has thrown nine touchdown passes and thrown for 2,169 yards, but he has also contributed to the team's downfall at times through bad decision making and 11 interceptions.
