The season kicked off in the early hours of Friday morning as the Carolina Panthers lost 21-20 to Denver Broncos in a rematch of Super Bowl 51.

When and where can I watch it?

Sky Sports will be bringing you all the action so you never miss a big play.

As well as exclusively showing Thursday night and Monday night football, join Neil Reynolds in the studio from 5pm on Sundays as we bring live coverage through the night.

Week One sees perennial Super Bowl contenders Green Bay Packers take on big spenders and much-improved Jacksonville Jaguars at 6pm. Following that, two powerhouses of the NFC East will look to assert early dominance in the division as the New York Giants play the Dallas Cowboys.

And in our late game, two Super Bowl favourites meet in Arizona as the Cardinals host the New England Patriots.
