Leading 27-10 and with a play-off place confirmed, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid wanted something special to finish the game.
Reid decided to get creative with the play-calling, bringing on nose tackle Dontari Poe to act as an enforcer, and get the Chiefs two yards and into the end zone.
However, instead of running the ball, Poe lined up in the 'Wildcat' formation, where a team snaps the ball to a player other than the quarterback.
With the ball in his hands, Poe looked up and tossed the ball over the defensive line, almost as if he was shooting a basketball free throw.
Not expecting the play, Denver hadn't covered tight end Demetrius Harris, who got underneath the pass for the short-yardage score.
The play puts Poe in the record books as the heaviest player ever to throw a touchdown pass. The six ft three, 346lb veteran can add one touchdown pass to his stat sheet, which already includes rushing TDs!
Kansas went on to win 33-10, and punched their ticket to the play-offs.
