England Roses finished fifth in the Fast5 World Series on Sunday morning.
They had lost their opening three matches on Saturday but rallied 24 hours later to beat South Africa in the fifth and sixth place play-off.
New Zealand took the top prize by beating Jamaica 20-12 in the final.
England first beat hosts Australia 29-28 on Sunday with George Fisher in a starring role. Australia had led with 40 seconds remaining but Fisher kept her cool to turn the tables.
Jamaica then beat England 42-37. Fisher scored three times during England's power play but it wasn't enough.
England finished fifth by completing a 35-33 win against South Africa.
