Surrey Storm have appointed former ANZ Championship coach Tania Hoffman as their new director of netball.
Hoffman worked as assistant coach for New Zealand outfit Central Pulse as they finished fifth in the NZ conference, but has now sought a fresh challenge with the two-time Superleague champions.
She replaces Tamsin Greenway, who left Surrey to join Netball Wasps, and will help to strengthen Storm's squad after a number of key players departed over the summer.
Hoffman said: "Surrey Storm faces many changes and challenges right now, which presents an exciting opportunity to lead the franchise into a new era.
"I am looking forward to working with management and players in building a new legacy at the club."
Veteran shooter Rachel Dunn became the latest to leave Surrey last week, following Sophie Candappa, Amy Flanagan Josie Huckle and Hannah Reid, who have all departed after the Grand Final win over Manchester Thunder.
Pamela Cookey also become a director of netball at Severn Stars after ending her playing career with Surrey, while Storm head coach Kathryn Ratanapala returned to Hertfordshire Mavericks as an assistant.
But franchise director Gavin Baker has welcomed the arrival of Hoffman and new signings are expected to be made before the start of the Superleague campaign.
Baker said: "We are really excited to welcome Tania to the club. She will bring a new level of experience and knowledge of the game to not only Surrey Storm, but to the Superleague as a whole."
