Jimmy Butler struck late with a clutch mid-range jumper to seal victory for the Philadelphia 76ers' over Eastern Conference rivals the Boston Celtics.
Joel Embiid starred for the Sixers with 37 points and 22 rebounds but it was Butler, who scored 22 points on 7-of-17 shooting, who provided the coup de grace in the dying seconds of regulation.
Philadelphia held a 116-113 lead and had possession with 7.8 seconds remaining. Butler received the ball at the perimeter and, with the Celtics defenders desperate to force a steal, almost bobbled possession away.
However, Butler regained control of the ball despite the close attention of Kyrie Irving, and spun towards the baseline. Irving lost his footing, giving Butler an open look at the Boston basket.
From just inside the three-point line, Butler rose to shoot a jumper that nestled in the net with 4.7 seconds remaining, killing off the Celtics' hopes.
Clearly pleased with his handiwork, Butler struck a pose as his team-mates rushed to congratulate him.
