Team USA's John Collins throws himself an assist off the backboard before throwing down a huge dunk in the Rising Stars game

Atlanta Hawks forward John Collins assisted himself on a huge off-the-backboard dunk as Team USA defeated Team World in the Rising Stars game at All-Star Weekend.

In a game full of highlight plays, Collins helped himself to several spectacular dunks on his way to 12 points as Team USA rolled to a 161-144 victory.

All-Star Game, Slam Dunk Contest and Three-Point Contest all live on Sky Sports Arena

His most spectacular slam came with 1:08 remaining in the second quarter as Team USA guard stole possession in his own half.

Fox shuttled the ball upcourt to Collins who drove towards the World basket before lofting an underarm pass over defender Luka Doncic. As the ball cannoned off the World backboard, Collins elevated to regather it and, in one motion, hammer home a vicious right-handed dunk.
