Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George and Indiana Pacers forward Bojan Bogdanovic have been named the NBA Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for week 17 of the 2018-19 season (February 5-11).

In three games, George averaged 37 points, eight rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.7 steals for the Thunder while shooting 42.9 percent (18-of-42) from three-point range.

'PG13' led the Thunder to a 3-0 record on the week as the team picked up wins over the Orlando Magic, Memphis Grizzlies and the Houston Rockets.

This is the third time this season George has scooped Player of the Week honours. He won the award two weeks ago after posting a 31.5 points per game average.

George is averaging a career-high 28.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, four assists and 2.3 steals per game this season for the Thunder and is among the candidates for the MVP award.

In a win over the Houston Rockets Saturday night, George outscored James Harden as he recorded his second 45-point game of the season.

Indiana Pacers forward Bogdanovic has been named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for week 17 of the 2018-19 NBA season.

After losing four straight games to end the month of January, the Pacers have bounced back to win their last five, including a 4-0 record last week.

Bogdanovic led the Pacers with 22.5 points during the week and added 2.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He scored 20 or more points in three straight games to end the week and has scored at least 20 in five of the past six games overall.

This is the first time Bogdanovic has won Player of the Week honours. He is the third Pacer to win the award this season after team-mates Victor Oladipo (week 3) and Thaddeus Young (week 9).

This is the first time in team history in which three different Pacers players have earned Player of the Week honours in one season.
