James Harden maintained his red-hot form recording a triple-double as the Houston Rockets rolled to a 113-101 home win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
Harden posted 43 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists to drag the Rockets to their 10th victory in their last 11 games. He connected on eight of his 19 shots, including 6-of-12 from three-point land and canned 21-of-27 free throws.
It was Harden's fourth consecutive 40-plus-point game. He also set an NBA record with his 10th successive 30-plus-point, five-plus-assist performance.
Harden exerted his influence on the game early in the fourth quarter, finding Gerald Green with a behind-the-back assist before making a trademark step-back three-pointer.
He beat the buzzer at the end of the second quarter with another huge trey to put the Rockets 61-38 up at the break, an advantage that ensured the Rockets completed an unbeaten month at home to close out the year.
