Joel Embiid stole the show as he threw himself an assist off the backboard during the Philadelphia 76ers' win over the Brooklyn Nets

Joel Embiid threw himself an assist off the backboard before unleashing a powerful two-handed slam in the Philadelphia 76ers' win over the Brooklyn Nets.

Embiid continued his rich vein of scoring form, dropping 32 on the Nets before Jimmy Butler's last-second three-pointer sealed a 127-125 win.

Embiid's highlight of the night came in the final minute of the third quarter after he received the ball at the top of the key.

As he dribbled across the lane, Nets defender Jared Dudley attempted to draw a charging foul against him and flopped to the floor when the pair made contact.

When the whistle didn't blow, Embiid seized the opening, taking one giant step before scooping an underhand pass up onto the backboard of the Nets' basket. Without missing a beat, the Cameroonian center took to the air to gather his own rebound before hammering home a thunderous two-handed dunk.
