A short film by LGB&T Sport Cymru is helping to change the perception of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in sport.
Sky Sports Living for Sport athlete mentor Beth Fisher features in the film titled 'LGBT Awareness in Sport', which was recently shortlisted for the Iris in the Community Film Festival Prize.
Wales international hockey player Fisher, who is an Ambassador for LGB&T Sport Cymru, says: "I truly believe this film could save lives.
"There are many statistics that show how important sport and physical activity is for mental wellbeing. No one should feel excluded from sport because they are LGBT."
Fisher's fellow LGB&T Sport Cymru Ambassador Hannah Winterbourne, who plays football with Cardiff Dragons and is the British Army's Transgender Representative, is among those who have also contributed their sporting stories to the film.
