Sky Sports' groundbreaking My Icon series drew to a close on Wednesday and who better to have the final word than our longest-serving presenter Mike Wedderburn.
Coinciding with Black History History Month, Sky Sports spoke to a whole host of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic sports personalities, rolling out the interviews every day in October online and on Sky Sports Mix.
We spoke to some of the biggest and most successful names in sport, and some of those whose stories are a little bit more under the radar.
They talked frankly about the highs and lows in their careers, the barriers they have overcome, who inspired them to become the very best they could be, and much more.
Prior to joining Sky Sports almost 20 years ago, Mike spent a decade as an elite sportsman, playing cricket for Hampshire before turning out for rugby union sides Harlequins and Wasps.
