Vincenzo Nibali sealed overall victory of the Tour of Oman as Alexander Kristoff sprinted to his second win of this year's race on the final stage.
Kristoff (Katusha) comfortably beat Zico Waeytens (Giant-Alpecin) into second place and Soren Kragh Andersen (Giant-Alpecin) into third to claim his fifth victory of the season.
Nibali (Astana) followed in the peloton in 21st place to seal a 15-second overall triumph over runner-up Romain Bardet (Ag2r-La Mondiale), with Jakob Fuglsang (Astana) 24 seconds down in third.
The win, which was built on Nibali's solo victory on the Green Mountain on stage four, was the Italian's first in a stage race since the 2014 Tour de France.
He said: "It was very important for me to try to get a win straight away. It's always nice to win early in the season, especially as there are important races coming up in the weeks to come."
Nibali will now return to Europe to continue his preparations for May's Giro d'Italia.
