Team Sky duo Peter Kennaugh and Chris Froome remained first and second overall at the Herald Sun Tour in Australia as John Murphy sprinted to victory on stage three.
Murphy (UnitedHealthcare) beat Niccolo Bonifazio (Trek-Segafredo) into second place and Steele von Hoff (ONE Pro Cycling) into third, with Kennaugh and Froome both following safely in the bunch.
Kennaugh will now take a 13-second lead over Froome at the top of the general classification into Sunday's final stage, which ends with a summit finish at Arthurs Seat.
Australia's Jack Bobridge (Trek-Segafredo) is 31 seconds back in third.
Kennaugh said: We're just going to have to take things one step at a time throughout the stage, see how the legs are. If Froomey is feeling super-good, it will be up to him, he can attack. I'm sure we'll have a strategy tomorrow and we'll take it from there.
"It would mean absolutely everything [to win the race]. Obviously, winning the Cadel race and then coming here and winning the first stage was a massive bonus in itself. If I can hold onto the GC, I'll go home a happy boy, that's for sure."
