Oakmont is expected to cause the players problems at this week's US Open, but Bubba Watson found a unique way to deal with the course's brutal layout.
A number of the world's top players expressed how difficult they expect the Pittsburgh venue to play when the tournament gets underway on Thursday, with Watson one of those to have already experienced problems.
The world No 4 found the rough during his practice round in glorious conditions on Tuesday, but created a novel way of attacking the pin.
After mis-hitting his chip from just off the green, the two-time major champion had far more joy when he caught his ball and threw it in the direction of the dancefloor.
Although his effort would have fallen foul of the rules once the tournament gets underway, it proved effective as he watched his ball trickle down the slope and in to the cup.
He posted a video of the shot to his Instagram account, with the message: "Working on my short game".
