Luke Donald will play at next week’s Open at Royal Troon following the withdrawal of Jaco van Zyl.
The 38-year-old Englishman replaces the injured South African at golf's oldest major championship.
Donald is currently teeing-up at Castle Stuart where this week's Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open is taking place.
It will be the world No 83's 14th appearance in The Open and second time at Royal Troon.
American Daniel Summerhays is the next player on the reserve list, should another golfer withdraw from the event.
The final four qualifying opportunities are up for grabs in Scotland this weekend.
