Rory McIlroy enjoyed a second hole-out from the fairway in five days as he looked sharp in practice for the Ryder Cup.
McIlroy was playing alongside Andy Sullivan, Henrik Stenson and Justin Rose on the final day of practice when he carded a superb two on the sixth hole at Hazeltine National.
His perfect wedge found the target and his ball took a large chunk out of the side of the hole, although European captain Darren Clarke will doubtless be hoping that McIlroy saves a few more shots like that for when the competition proper gets underway on Friday.
McIlroy also holed out from the fairway en route to clinching his thrilling victory at the Tour Championship on Sunday, when his 137-yard approach hopped into the cup and helped him secure a place in a three-man play-off.
He birdied the fourth extra hole to pip Ryan Moore to the title and pocket the $10m bonus for winning the FedExCup, ensuring he would arrive at Hazeltine full of confidence as he bids to lead Europe to a fourth successive victory.
