Bubba Watson rekindled memories of Medinah as he fired up the home support ahead of this weekend's Ryder Cup at Hazeltine.
The United States vice captain had the stands surrounding the opening tee whooping and hollering as only they can when emulating his 'Happy Gilmore' antics from the 2012 showpiece in Illinois.
Watson broke with tradition four years ago, dispensing with the 'could-hear-a-pin drop silence' when pleading with the crowd to 'make some noise' on the backswing of his opening shot on the Friday morning.
And just days after being called into Davis Love's backroom team, the two-time Masters champion did not disappoint when asking for similar backing on the first day of practice ahead of this weekend's showdown against Europe.
Ryan Moore, who edged out Watson for the final place on the team, said: "Bubba has been a blast and I applaud him for being here. It says a lot about him the fact that he is here backing us and just wanting to be a part of it all."
