Niall Horan and Bill Murray were among the stars to appear in the Ryder Cup celebrity challenge, where the USA thrashed Europe at Hazeltine.
Huge crowds gathered on Tuesday to see teams of eight celebrities from Europe and the USA go head-to-head in a Texas scramble format, with the holes won by each pair forming the final score.
Horan played alongside Irish rugby legend Paul O'Connell, as their match with Murray and musician Huey Lewis ended all square.
"The crowd here is insane!" Horan told Sky Sports on Periscope. "It was like a party and I've played in a few pro-ams at home but I've never witnessed anything like the crowd out here!
"I haven't played very well today. I'm generally an all right golfer, but today I've been absolutely horrific."
Former footballers Andriy Shevchenko and Alessandro Del Piero were beaten by actors Kurt Russell and Rob Riggle.
Olympic star Michael Phelps was caught throwing a club in anger after a wayward shot during his match with John Regis and Martina Navratilova, who played barefoot for a time, although the swimmer and Kelly Slater still won comfortably.
